Ever had that moment in which a song comes on and a certain individual comes to mind? Well, with this song... No matter where I'm at, who I'm with, or what time of day it is only one man comes to mind. That being, my best friend. Since we became close friends, he showed me nothing but loyalty! Wherever I was at, if I needed help, he would be there in a heart beat. He was the one person to whom I could spill out all my deepest darkest secrets yet he would never judge me. It's a bit unexplainable you know, the friendship we had with one another. I could count on him for anything and vise versa.
 I still remember the night he called me because he had been kicked outta his house. He came to me for comfort and relief. That night will forever be engraved in my heart because not only did he trust me, he came to me in his darkest of days. That proved he valued me as a legit friend. Over time we grew comfortbale with one another. So much that I would even spend the night at his house trusting him to not lay a finger on me. We would sleep on the same bed, but never with sexual intentions. Like I said, our friendship was a bit special. But can friendships like that last without falling for one another?
 It's obvious that humans tend to grow feelings for someone whom they spend so much time around. Especially if you're as comfortable with each other as we were. Given that, we fell for each other HARD! Now, I'm blessed to say that I am in a relationship with my best friend of 4 years. I couldn't be any more happier because it's something so comfortable and full of love. Like most couples, we have our ups and downs yet we know one another so much that we fight through it all. Understanding ourselves was one of the hardest obstacles through the years, but look where we're at now... I wouldn't have it any other way! So hey, my best friend got outta the friend zone!
