This week I ventured out to Utah in order to get some peace of mind. While I was there, a business man from Dallas inspired me to get back on my blog game. We had a conversation about our goals which led me to tell him about a goal I've always had. I told him how I wanted to have my own business... My own business in music! If you know me, you know I'm a HUGE music junkie. It's always been a huge goal of mine to pursue something with my music knowledge. So, what better person to give me advice about business, right? He asked what part of music I liked & of course I said, "discovering new artists!" that led to him suggesting I create a blog... BRILLIANT! No? Pues si. Of course our conversation was a lot more detailed in person, but lets not get into that... Point is, here I am! Back at it again! Ever had that moment in which a song comes on and a certain individual comes to mind? Well, with this song... No matter where I'm at, who I'm with, or what time of day it is only one man comes to mind. That being, my best friend. Since we became close friends, he showed me nothing but loyalty! Wherever I was at, if I needed help, he would be there in a heart beat. He was the one person to whom I could spill out all my deepest darkest secrets yet he would never judge me.  As life passes me by, I slowly start to realize what my priorities are. With that being said, this year I decided to go back to school. Thus continuing my education and expanding my horizons. Not only do I want to work my way up in the medical field, but I want to feed my brain as well. It's been quite some time since I graduated high school (5 years to be precise) I have no clue why it took me this long to want to come back. It might've been that I was comfortable or in other words lazy, who knows? I can't even explain it. The awesome part is that I'm back to being a student! Not only that, but I also have a career in which I make enough money to pay for my classes. I've accomplished many things these past few months. The one which I'm most proud of is deciding to go after a better career. My goal is to get into the surgical tech program because I've grown to love the medical field. Weekend getaway in the city of angels... A few months ago, my boyfriend(Eddie) surprised me with two tickets to go see Donald Glover. The rapper, also known as Childish Gambino. I anticipated for the day to arrive and when it finally did, we both were thrilled! The ride there consisted of us pigging out on snacks we had packed as well as listening to great music. Magnificent objects LA, many involving graffiti. I have no clue who POSTAL is, but shoutout to you and that amaaaaaazing S! We managed to get help from Yelp to figure out where we wanted to pig out. Eddie so happened to find a place called Roscoe's which was famous for their chicken and waffles. I have to admit, this is a must try! I ordered an omelet filled with chicken and cheese plus a side of french fries(a bit on the boring side, but soooo scrumptious!) Eddie ordered the chicken covered in gravy along with waffles. Coachella 2014 Talk about scratching something off my bucket list, eh? Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals in California which started in 1999. The genres of music range from indie, hip hop, rock, and EDM. This year my best friend(Janell) and I went out to explore this festival we had longed to visit since we were in high school. The experience itself was surreal! From partying 3 days straight to being stoked about Indio's incredible Mcchicken deals. Everything fell into place perfectly and our adventure was a success. I might've lost track of how many things I lost within those 3 days, but i surely gained new friendships and memories. We met people from Atlanta, Texsas and even people from California. Not one single person was rude to us! Sooooo many beautiful souls roaming the desert all of us searching for the thrill of it. 2014 has def been good to me... -xx

This morning I was joined by none other then my better half, E(as I call him.) Together we decided to make some morning breakfast which included gluten free banana pancakes(made by yours truly) some scrambled eggs & ham + some yummy condiments to give it flavor(made by Mr.Handsome) and of course, our beverages. Along with our breakfast, Buddy Holly sang along as we indulged in our marvelous & scrumptious meal. So, thank you to my wonderful boyfriend for always being my partner in crime(although he was a bit crabby this morning... I can't blame him.) kisses to you lover boy!
